Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) today received a courtesy visit from a delegation of the Institut Kemahiran Islam Darul Ridzuan (IKDAR) in an official discussion session held at the Quality Meeting Room, Level 2, Faculty of Education and Social Sciences (FPSS), Bestari Jaya Campus.

The visit, which began at 9:45 a.m., aimed to discuss the direction of existing academic collaboration and to draft a new Memorandum of Agreement (MoA/MoU) between the two institutions. This initiative is a continuation of the previous agreement signed on 24 February 2020, which has had a positive impact on the academic development and students of both parties.
The strategic collaboration currently being planned is expected to further strengthen the relationship between UNISEL and IKDAR, while ensuring the implementation of a more inclusive, sustainable, and holistic education model. This effort is also aligned with the nation’s aspiration to expand access to quality higher education for all segments of society, including IKDAR students.
The IKDAR delegation was led by Dr. Muhammad Faizal bin Tahiruddin, Rector of IKDAR and Chairman of the National Tahfiz TVET Development Working Committee. The delegation also included Tuan Syed Mohamad bin Syed Zakaria, Member of the IKDAR Board of Directors, along with seven other key representatives of the institution.
The discussion session was attended by UNISEL’s faculty management, comprising Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad bin Daoh, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences (FPSS); Associate Professor Dr. Dzulkainain bin Ahmad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Life Sciences (FKSH); Ms. Na-Thinamalar Magiswary Nadarajan, Deputy Dean (Academic) of FPSS; and Dr. Noor Fadhzana binti Mohd Noor, Deputy Dean (Research and Postgraduate Studies) of FPSS.
The event was further graced by the presence of UNISEL’s top leadership, namely Professor Emeritus Ir. Dato’ Dr. Hassan bin Basri, President & Vice-Chancellor of UNISEL. UNISEL expressed its commitment to continuously strengthening strategic partnerships with IKDAR, in line with the university’s vision to be a leader in education grounded in holistic human development.
