Overview

  • Explaining the basic knowledge (knowledge of fardhu ain and fardhu kifayah) that forms the basis of education in Islam
  • Applying the basic understanding of Islamic education in teaching and learning.
    Demonstrated leadership skills, effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dealing with current issues using an Islamic approach.
  • Demonstrate management or/and entrepreneurial skills in the workplace.
  • Practicing ethical and professional values ​​that are consistent with Islamic morals.
  • Demonstrate skills in managing information and motivation to continue to develop oneself in terms of  education.

Career Opportunities

  • Teaching career in any educational institution whether government or private.
  • Venture into career fields such as religious administration officers in state religious institutions, executive officers, education management officers, educational consultants or educational entrepreneurs.
  • Engage in the field of services in the aspect of sharia compliance in any company and be responsible as a sharia compliance officer (who monitors the halal, clean aspects and ensures the product journey and the administration of the company or enterprise so as not to deviate from sharia law).

Diploma Requirements

  1. Passed in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vocational (SPMV) exam by obtaining at least 3 credits in any subject including one of the Islamic Religion subjects and passing the Arabic language subject OR
  2. Passed Thanawi Certificate 4 with 3 subjects and got the rank of Jayyid or equivalent recognized by the Government or University Senate and passed Bahasa Malaysia at SPM / SPMV level OR
  3. Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian government.
