The Diploma in Psychology curriculum adheres to the Program Standards for Psychology and covers:

The Diploma in Psychology program consists of a balanced curriculum designed to provide foundational knowledge, practical skills, and ethical principles. Students must complete a minimum of 90 credit hours, comprising:
Compulsory Courses
General education and university-required courses, including topics on Malaysian studies, communication, and ethics, as per MQA guidelines.
Core Psychology Courses
Foundational courses introducing key areas of psychology, including theoretical concepts, research methods, and applications in various contexts.
Final-Year Project
A supervised final project aimed at integrating and applying knowledge acquired throughout the program.

Our program is accessible to a wide range of applicants, with various pathways for admission:
- A Pass in SPM with a minimum of THREE (3) credits in any subject and a pass in Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/General Science/ Applied Science*; OR
- A Pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject and a pass in Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/Applied Science*; at SPM level;
OR
- A Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul and a pass in Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science at SPM level*;
OR
- A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in the relevant fields with at least CGPA of 2.00 and a pass in Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science at SPM level*;
OR
- Pass SKM Level 3, MQF in the relevant fields;
OR
- Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements.
Notes:
Applicants must have at least a pass in Mathematics and Science in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). For those who do not meet this requirement, they may enroll in equivalent bridging courses offered at UNISEL, designed to fulfill the Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/General Science/ Applied Science prerequisites for the program.
