The Faculty of Education and Social sciences was established a decade ago in Shah Alam campus by a small group of prominent intellectuals and educators who were . Their vision was to bring together scholars and education professionals interested in questioning, debating, and discussing the most important issues of the day.
In 2005, the faculty moved into the new main campus in Bestari Jaya, Kuala Selangor. The new campus is very spacious and equipped with complete and excellent buildings and facilities suitable for receiving a large number of students.
The faculty at that time has become the largest faculty that offers various levels of programs from diploma level to postgraduate.
